I have a well I depend on for my water and I need water to live and to grow my vegetable garden. I live in Northumberland Peterborough South where agriculture is the biggest employer and biggest business in our local economy. Our farmers need water for their crops and livestock. Read more

Our access to drinking water, no matter who we are, or what creature we are, and where we live in this world, is a privilege to be treasured and safeguarded. As such, and especially in what should be a forward-thinking area of this world, I expect our laws to protect us and our water supply. Read more

This proposal, allowing unfettered water taking by corporations and particularly during droughts, is absolute folly. I reside in rural Ontario, and depend on my well for all my personal water needs. Read more

I do not agree with allowing permit holders to avoid reducing their takings during a drought . That water should be for the general good and use of all the users and not for making a profit for the permit holders . I believe the permit holders should be banned from taking water during a drought .
