This is disgusting practice and dogging should probably not be an option if you cannot train them without subjecting wild animals to such cruelty. I can’t believe that this is something that people enjoy doing, and I grew up in a small town near tons of farmland. Never heard of anyone doing this. Read more

This is a huge step backwards for our government to be reinstating policies like this, 25 years after they’ve been phased out!! This is a horrible and cruel practice and I’m in disbelief that our government could even consider reinstating the issuance of licenses for this activity. Disgraceful

This is barbaric. Do not pass this amendment. As a lifelong citizen of Ontario, a policy professional, and simply a compassionate human being, I wholeheartedly reject the provincial government's proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario.

Seriously? Please shut down these facilities that promote such cruelty to defenceless animals. People who make use of facilities like these should also be put on a watch list as they likely enjoy abusing helpless living beings, and can be a threat to society.

Wildlife should never be taken from their natural environments and held captive by hunters. It’s especially cruel to use rabbits, coyotes, and foxes as pawns for hunters to train dogs and hold competitions.
