This proposal is barbaric. Is this what we have gone back to? I am disgusted by this proposal which will put our wildlife in danger and who needs dogs who will be on the attack? Put a stop to this, please!

I am opposed to the issuance of further permits allowing penned hunting of wildlife by dogs in the province. Please continue to phase out the issuance of permits so that this practice can eventually, and hopefully quickly, end. Read more

This is disgusting but not at all surprising coming from the Ontario government. They poison our forests for profit in the logging industry which ends up in our water. Now this proposal when are people going to stand up and say enough!!

I strongly oppose the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses, and the transfer of existing licenses, for dog train and trial areas in Ontario. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to the wild animals used to train dogs to hunt. Read more

Respectfully, I reject the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. Penned dog hunting facilities are cruel to wild animals that are subjected to various methods used to train dogs to hunt. Read more

Doug Ford Can’t address you as Mr when I hear of this unethical proposal. Training dogs and abusing wild animals is totally an outrageous plan. Perhaps you should run in the wild and see how it goes, we lose nothing

No. This regressive and barbaric practice has no place in our society and needs to come to an end. This is government sanctioned cruelty, plain and simple; dragging grotesque and sadistic practices from a time long past into the present. Read more

This is disgusting and not to mention soo cruel! In the wild these animals wouldn’t have to encounter this and if so they would have a fighting chance!! 🤢🤢 how about you train hunting dogs by having them actually hunt!! This is not hunting this is not even giving the poor captive animal a chance!
