The decision made in 1997 to phase these out was made for a reason. Why repeat the same mistakes instead of being focused on growth, change and creativity?
Completely against the abuse of wildlife in any form. Wildlife struggles enough in southern Ontario due to the population and activities of humans. Do not put them in further danger.
I do not support the cruel use of dogs to kill wildlife. Bad for wildlife and bad for dogs. It speaks to who the government thinks this is who we are.

This proposal is horrific. I truly cannot comprehend how any sane person can propose an amendment like this. Why is this government choosing maximum cruelty on every single file it touches?

I am against the amendment of the FWCA to allow hunting and training pens in Ontario. This is barbaric and inhumane to all wildlife involved. Humans have had a devastating impact on nature and the environment of our wildlife.

This proposal is barbaric. Using wildlife trapped in enclosed spaces to train dogs to hunt was a practice being phased out. It should be eliminated. I am disgusted that this government is proposing a change to the laws. I do not support this proposal.

This is absolutely shameful and I hope enough people raise their voices to put a stop to it. Thanks to constant and voracious land development our beautiful wildlife (which should be celebrated and protected) already has nowhere to go and now they could potentially face this as well? It's horrific.
This is an absolutely ridiculous idea. To use living creatures as bait speaks to the character of the individuals who came up with this plan. Absolutely disgusting.
