This practice is irresponsible. It is inhumane to the wildlife, It is dangerous for the dogs. We should not be teaching our pets to keep a distance from the wildlife, it puts them, and other peoples dogs at risk. This practice can spread disease. Read more

This is a very cruel activity for the fun of a few dog-owning hunters. Dogs get to chase wild animals that can't escape and could be killed. I object to and oppose the proposed changes. I am a hunter.

Very important to allow for the allowance of the dog trial areas. Still require strict enforcement and proper paper management of the sites. The animals need to have the proper essentials to survive

Is there really a need to traumatize wildlife in their habitat? This seems like an archaic practice, even if the dogs & wildlife are protected from one another. Capturing an animal to train another is uncalled for.

I can't believe how backwards this government is. We are supposed to be evolving as a society not going backwards. I guess you are planning for the apocalypse which you seem to be driving us towards with every redneck policy this government puts forward. Read more

Using animals as training bait is absolutely disgusting and beyond cruel. This is a completely unnecessary practice that should be banned all together. No animal should held captive for practices such as this. There are other alternatives to scent training that do not require live animals. Read more

This might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard… Why do we care about hunting dogs? And why are we giving innocent animals to them? For the couple percent of the population, that hunt for fun and not even to eat the food… You guys should give your head a shake

So you have BSL (which totally goes against science and facts) but you actually want to train dogs to kill. I’m totally against this because it would definitely put people and small pets at risk. DON’T DO IT !!!

Stop the practice of using animals to kill other animals. This is a barbaric practice that should be outlawed. And stop trapping and enclosing animals for the reason of training other animals to hunt and kill them. I do not agree with the attempt to change the law

I would like to register my opinion about this pending extension. I am totally against it. I find it to be inhumane and lacking in compassion. Try to imagine the horror that these animals experience, and the suffering they endure while defending themselves, for no reason other than sport. Read more
