This is absolutely wrong and against ethical treatment of animals. How is this even being considered in Ontario? Domesticated dog training should never take priority over native, wild animals lives.
This is not good legislation for the good of Ontario.
This is animal cruelty and inhuman treatment of wildlife. We need to progress with less cruelty in our world. More compassion.

It's not ethical to capture wild animals to use as bait for hunting. Animals should not be forced to live in a high stress environment where they are constantly hunted and have no chance of escape.

This is barbaric, and should not be allowed at all. As a CANADIAN, I am ashamed that this was ever allowed. I definitely want to see this practice. STOPPED.
I am outraged and horrified that this even exists! I thought we were a better country than that. I thought we had agencies in place to ensure the safety and care of animals. Yet this baiting and trapping of innocent animals is allowed and used to train hunting dogs? Are you kidding me?!?

I wholeheartedly disagree with this amendment purposed, and really feel like it is a step back. If allowed to continue, it will bring some much unnecessary cruelty.
Bill 91, currently before the legislature for third reading, would allow new and the sale/trade of existing licenses for dog trial and train areas (or penned dog hunting facilities).

This is unnecessary. It is cruel and abhorrent. There will be no control. You are killing enough animals through all of your tearing down the greenbelt. Enough is enough!!
Please do not allow this cruel and inhumane bill to be passed. As a life long Ontarian my province does not allow animal cruelty. There is no need for this outdated and cruel bill.
This is absolutely barbaric and should not be allowed!!! In this year and time there is no excuse for such behaviour and lack of concern for the wildlife involved- an erosion of ourselves as a society. I forcefully say this should not be allowed.
I am horrified that a return to dog hunting pens is being considered in Ontario. This is cruel, inhumane, and entirely unnecessary. As I understand it, no other Canadian province allows this and it is banned in many parts of the USA.
