How low will this government go? It is a disgusting idea to legitimize this barbaric practice just because there is a worry it will go underground. Try enforcing the law rather than trying to scoop votes by pandering to the gun lobby and the suggested possible illegal behaviour of animal abuse. Read more

This is an appalling proposal that needs to be canceled. Cruelty to wildlife is not acceptable. Close all existing facilities and reject this proposal. The dogs, and defenseless rabbits, foxes and coyotes deserve better in this province. We are not barbarians. Atleast not in my Ontario.

This is inhumane and should not be allowed. Instead of reverting to archaic and unethical ways, we should learn from the past and do all that we can to avoid repeating past mistakes and errors in judgement. Please, do not allow new licenses to be granted and/or transferred to new owners.

The torturing of these poor innocent animals is absolutely unnecessary!! People have been training their hunting dogs for years without the use of rabbit, foxes and coyotes as bait! This should not be passed! It’s down right cruel!

I am firmly against this archaic and cruel proposal. Capturing wild animals and offering them up as bait in some sick version of "sport"? Let the Ford government stop listening to lobbyists for once, and start governing for the people of Ontario. No one wants this, save for a barbaric few.

This is a horrifying proposal. It's cruel and barbaric. The value of this practice has not been established in this proposal as there is no value. I'm shocked that this would be even be contemplated let alone reach the stage of potential implementation. Please reflect and reject this proposal.

This is an atrocity! I vehemently oppose this proposal. Our government should be looking into how to solve the problems WE have created …by avoiding further habitat loss! Culling is a barbaric and egocentric act!
