The penning of wild animals to train hunting dogs is a cruel and archaic practice which should be discontinued immediately, not expanded. Shame on the government for even considering it.

I am strongly opposed to using wildlife to train hunting dogs. It is cruel to take a wild animal from its natural habitat for the benefit of training dogs.
Dogs can be trained well by not using this method. Surely this day and age, there is an alternative.

With reference to your proposal, it is completely unethical to allow dogs to be trained using living beings as bait. As a Canadian, I am completely against this proposal, and hope the Canadian government will abandon this idea.
