One would think ,that the older trucks are in need of help to be cleaner. That may be hard but people will thank you. I live in Vancover and the fires out here are scary. The answer maybe Hydrogen and a company in Ont. has a solution , called Dynacert. It was in a truckers magazine. Read more

Emissions enforcement should never been taken away from the EXPERTS at MECP. MTO already has a full plate and no motivation to conduct heavy duty emission. Identifying a tampered vehicle takes time and experience to learn. In addition NO light duty mobile enforcement will be conducted by MTO. Read more

Since current commercial vehicles have software to prevent operation with emissions faults, Why would there need to be 381/02 authorizing officers to put out of service and remove number plates? Read more

VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTION SHOULD BE EVERY YEAR DUE TO SOME CARS WHICH I SEE ARE NOT SPOSE TO BE ON ROAD (RUSTED BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS WHOLE IN SUBFRAME. WHOLE IN THE FLOOR ECT) PEOPLE JUSTDONT WANT TO FIX THOSE PROBLEMS.

Purchasing a specially dedicated tablet should not be required. Many shops have already invested in this technology and are currently doing their own digital inspections with other software programs. Read more
