I thinks Bow hunting should be allowed in all WMU when the controlled hunts are on. There is no reason why 91 and 92 should be excluded. If you have permission from the land owner it's their decision who hunts and what they use.
Please consider my comment. Allow the use of shotguns along with black powder rifles in WMU 92. I believe it to be discriminatory to not allow shotguns when so many adjoining WMU's permit the use of both firearms during the controlled hunts.

I really think the wmu 91 & 92 should be the same as the rest of the province for simplifying the hunt. There is no reason for them to be exempt. I am a land owner from wmu 92 and would welcome more bow hunters during controlled hunts.
Permit the use of bows during the gun season(s) in WMUs 53B, 69A2, 70, 76A-E, 77A-C, 78A-B, 79C-D, 80, 81A-B, 82C, 85A-C, 86A-B, 87B-E, 89A-B, 90A-B, 93A-B, and 94B, while requiring the existing safety protocols (e.g. hunter orange).

Re: Zone 45. As a land owner and hunter I would not agree to an earlier start to whitetail bow season due to the warm weather during this period. Meat quality suffers and must be rushed into a freezer.

You may have accidentally overlooked the prior requests to update WMU 92 to include shotguns. There are many frustrated landowners, farmers and hunters that are dissatisfied with the archaic hangover limitation from the 80's. Please please do not compel me to buy another firearm.

The exclusion of WMU's 91 & 92 for the legislation allowing the use of archery equipment during the controlled hunts is ridiculous and goes against the stated objective of the whole proposal.
First I would like to congratulate the Ministry for their efforts in streamlining the regulations pertaining to deer hunting in Ontario. It just makes sense, and will make it that much easier for hunters.

Our area should allow bow hunting during the muzzle loading period as well. We shouldn't have 3 muzzle loading weeks during the peak of the rut. If you keep 3 then move one to mid October..one to the end of November and one at the end of December.

I live in WMU 92 and upon reading the proposal I wonder why the opportunity for the use of bows during gun seasons would not be extended to my area (92). A couple exceptions were noted but WMU 92 was not one of them and WMU 92 was not in the list of applicable WMUs.
