This bulletin is for information only, as a closure plan amendment is not an instrument under the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993. The Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry is posting this bulletin to the Environmental Registry to keep the public informed of changes to mining projects in Ontario. Bulletin details
The proposed changes to the project are as follows:
- Emergency egress for near surface portal
- Relocation of a switchyard to be closer to the power source
- Increase in financial assurance to account for the above changes and a previously approved near surface portal
