This proposal is for an amendment to existing Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. A100140 for GFL Environmental Services Inc., for a waste disposal site (transfer/processing) with a total area of 1.83 hectares, located at 52 Imperial Street in Hamilton, Ontario.
Approval is currently being sought to increase site storage capacity of waste by 120,000 litres due to the addition of three 40,000 litre double-walled storage tanks for the purpose of storing wastewater generated from industrial, commercial and institutional clients.
The Imperial Street Facility is approved to operate 24 hours per day 365 days per year and serves Canada and the United States.
