I am a long time visitor to Rondeau Park. The memories created in this lovely park are endless. What a shame that the owners of the cottages are being held hostage over land ownership. Have they not already shown years of stewardship and pride in ownership of their cottages. Read more

My family owns a cottage in Rondeau Park, for many years, and I would like to add my support for extending cottage leases through 2024 and hopefully beyond in a longer lease term. We have been coming to the park since I was young and I have always enjoyed my time there. Read more

The proposal needs to be approved. The Park Plan is very out of date and needs a full revision with recognition that the cottage community belongs in Rondeau permanently. The best way forward is to implement the purchase plan that Chatham-Kent proposed and the Minister agreed to and shook on it. Read more

The 2 year lease extension should be approved to allow time to develop a permanent solution for Rondeau's heritage cottages to remain. Rondeau Park was chartered for cottaging in 1894 and cottages have always been a part of Rondeau. Read more

Dear Sir, Please do what is right for everyone, the cottage s, cottagers, visitors of the Park, CK business, CK communities, CK Municipality, Ontario, Canada and Ontario Parks. Keep Canadian history alive and give them a lease extension and offer the ability to let them buy the land.

Rondeau is a stunning area of the country, enjoyed for years by many, many families. The cottagers take pride in the park, and take the stewardship of the land very seriously. They protect the beaches, I often hear them speak of the importance of maintaining the natural growth and flora. Read more
