As Canada grows, our need for farm lands and ecologically safe zones becomes more and more important to feed our citizens, to help scrub the pollution from our air, and to provide for the anglers and hunters of our province. We should be preserving these greenbelt areas. Read more

What is being done about the ecosystems and biodiversity within the Greenbelt that will be developed? Those take years to grow and flourish and cannot just be simply replaced by “adding” to the Greenbelt. Biodiversity and ecosystem health is integral to human health and slowing climate change.

As a citizen of Toronto, one of my favorite parts of it is just how green it is. The vast network of parks, ravines, and greenbelt is a wonderful aspect of this city. I understand the need for more housing, but giving up space on the greenbelt is not the way to go. Read more

We have designated the Greenbelt protected for a specific reason and we cannot decide just because it suits us right now that what the greenbelt offers and why it is protected is no longer valid. Much of the diverse food we eat comes from this area and it needs to be protected.

Well, here's yet another bad idea. Is nothing safe from this government? Another promise broken. Another way to hurt Ontario. Stop this madness and start protecting this province. What have you damaged so far -- Healthcare, education, conservation..... it never seems to end. Read more
