Even the people who never thought about the environment learned during the pandemic that the supply chain is fragile. We absolutely cannot afford to let developers keep paving over farmland and wetland. We need to keep all that land safe. They have money and they want more, but they will never pay the great cost. The whole point of government is to protect this place not for developers but for our future. Let's think about how to make sure farmers can make a decent living doing their important work, and make sure our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, have a place to live that is even better than what we have now. Lakes and rivers abundant with fish, forests full of wildlife, fields full of food, clean air to breathe. What kind of person would Choose to make the world worse?
