We need to stop short sighted planning, protected green lands are necessary for vegetation, humans and animals. I am unable to find a house I can afford but I will not sacrifice protected lands to get mine. There are better and safer ways to develop our large province.

Please leave the Greenbelt areas undisturbed. Do no develop on them. They were designated through the proper channels, and for a reason. There is no such thing as moving a protected area, like moving a wetland. They are where they are. Leave them. Read more

Do not destroy or dig into the greenbelt. Climate change is already worsening by the day, it's getting hotter and hotter each year, storms are getting more intense, the earth is dying. The last thing we need is more protected land ruined. Doug Ford is bullying others yet again for personal gain. Read more

You can not touch the green belt! We need it for farming and having forests to help clear the polluting air from the cities close by. We need farms for local produce. Trees are a home for animals and help clear the carbon from all the emissions from the highways and cities. Read more

I implore the Ontario government to halt its plans to develop the Greenbelt. It is imperative to permanently protect this ecologically, agriculturally, and culturally important land. We must start to think further ahead to the legacy we are leaving for future generations of Ontarians. Read more
