Ontario needs density where people work, not endless suburban sprawl. Gutting the Greenbelt not only destroys agricultural land and much needed green space, but will worsen traffic across Southern Ontario and worsen the climate crisis for future Ontarians. Keep your promise and scrap this proposal.

To whom it may concern, the conservation of public green space is not open to any government for the removal of said conservation. Canada is founded on extensive lands and green space which support both human, animal and plant life for the good of all. Read more

This is a TERRIBLE idea. I do not support it at all...these lands should be protected. Use all the unoccupied condos, control rent and cap the real estate market ii nstead if destroying nature which is what we need the most. Bad idea, it's insulting that it is even being considered.

I highly oppose this proposal. Wetlands are critical to our climate change initiatives, ecological and biodiversity preservation, and personal safety. These lands are protected and should remain as such for the mutual benefit of all Ontarians, Canadian, and humanity. Read more

I am absolutely against touching the greenbelt. There is more than enough land to develop to meet the goal of 1.5 million homes. Despite the massive need for housing, taking away the greenbelt from the GTHA would be a big mistake, as we can never have it back. Read more

Premier Doug Ford promised not to touch the Greenvelt. Doing so would deepen the already huge chasm of distrust from the community to its provincial government. These lands aren’t just conservation, they are important ecological landscapes with rares biosystems and animals. Read more
