How does this benefit ontario overall other than benefiting the developers and thebines taking donations from them. This changes does not benefit the animals or forest in the area. The long term damage is something to worry about not only the pockets that are being filled with the profits

The greenbelt is meant to be left untouched and this plan includes modifying it to get around the act that protects it. Condos are not affordable housing, by and large they are the chips in the international poker game that is speculative Canadian real estate investment. Read more

I am totally opposed to using the Greenbelt for housing. We should not be producing more 1950's style of housing tracts that require a car to go anywhere. The emphasis should be on in fill housing, higher density housing and re developing our downtowns. Read more

I am not in agreement with the opening up of our Greenbelt for housing. The Greenbelt must be preserved as a buffer around our urban areas. It preserves ground water for numerous watersheds, wildlife habitats, recreation space, climate preservation and farmland. Read more
