I absolutely do not support the Proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Area boundary regulation, we must keep the current or better protections in place our to preserve farmland, current ecosystems, and greenspace for future generations.
I completely oppose Bill 23 permitting building on the the the Green Belt that Ford promised never to approve. Ford needs to be reminded of his agreements and that building is short sighted for the future of the GTA.
Mr. Ford & the Ontario PCs you are not keeping your promises to not build on the Green Belt, we see through your deception’s & support for your development buddies. This is actually going to destroy the land that feeds you &I, & our families. Do the right thing and repeal Bill 123.
Hands off the greenbelt! We NEED this land protected. It cannot be replaced. Bill 23 must be repealed. It’s a disgrace. I would like to go for a walk in the woods with my small family on the weekend, not attend rallies trying to protect green space and farmland. We are in a climate emergency.

Please leave the Greenbelt the way it is. It provides many essential functions. Floodplains and farm land for instance. New housing is vital for Ontario's future, however, higher density is the way to provide affordable housing for Ontario's growing population.
Please don't incorporate these amendments - the Greenbelt Area is important and quite pertinent to the local nature and thus the overall ecology and environment of the area.
The greenbelt portion of land on 4818 King Street should be added to the proposed greenbelt amendment. Approximately 8 of the 31.5 acres I own is designated as greenbelt land. It is a small, narrow and oddly shaped strip of land which splits my property.
