We have the means to grow within and not out. We need mixed zoning and more vaccant unit taxes. Destroying our farm and conservation areas wil pnly harm is in the long run as weve seen woth groind water studys.

Serious terrible work... Continued Urban Sprawl growth is a Ponzi Scheme. The only way to pay for all this is with more harmful Urban Sprawl and real Urban Areas Subsidizing the Suburbs. It is an economic and environmental disaster. Just to make a bunch of rich developer richer. Read more

I feel that new housing developments or land use wrt housing should not go into rural settlement areas or agricultural areas. We need to protect our dwindling and important farmlands and significant wetlands and greenspace. Read more

I am in support of the proposed changes that would permit residential lot creation / severances in Rural Areas. Existing rural roads can be lined with rural residential lots while maintaining the majority of the farmland behind. Let Ontario residents live in the countryside!

This government has demonstrated that by recklessly making off-the-cuff decisions, that it actually plans really poorly. As a good example, we can look to the plan to demolish the Ontario Science Centre for housing. Read more

We have a farm in halton in greenbelt and rural NEC. We volunteer on every committee for farming . Our farm is small 46 acres with half in Forest NHS and 23 acres clear. Before this proposal our farm designation is Rural land . Read more
