We need the ability to sever as many lots as we like from our farmland. Please make this happen Mr.Ford! By creating more opportunities for individuals to own their own piece of property, severing land can help to promote stability and pride within communities.

My primary concern with the proposed changes to the Provincial Policy Statement (PPS) was the provision for 3 new/additional severances on existing agriculture zoned land. I understand the provincial government will no longer be moving ahead with this change to the PPS. Read more

Please begin/continue looking into grave renewal so that the province can start the practice sooner than later. Reusing graves, especially in natural burial cemeteries using environmentally friendly methods, is the most sustainable option for body disposition. Read more

I own property near Cayuga Ontario. Our farm was purchased in 1982 and my husband farmed the land for several years. Eventually, he rented the land to a local farmer and she still farms it. The property is just under 100 acres but approximately 82 acres are rented out. Read more
