There's more than enough land currently available for housing without taking Greenspace. Stealing greenspaces isn't about the people of Ontario. It is about stealing green wealth from Ontarians. Keep your greenbelt promise Doug Ford.

This is a rural community that does not have the infrastructure necessary to support such a massive increase in population. The people who reside here do so since it is rural in nature. This changes the entire landscape in this region. Read more

Touching the greenbelt, especially the Duffins Rouge Agricultural preserve is a slap in the face to residents of this province! Bad planning, short sighted ignoring climate change and just a plan to make political supporters richer than they already are! Sooo disgusting!

I would like to register my opposition to your plan to build on the Greenbelt. This is land valuable to sustain not only people but nature as well. There is no $$ that can be attached to it. Read more

I’m going to say what I know a lot of farmers are thinking - sure, 3 severances May be too many but there is absolutely a need for at least one. Our livelihood and future success of our farms depends on living and working on them. Read more

People need places to live. It is laudable that the government has recognized that and has focused on providing new housing. However, people also need to eat. The proposed changes simply do not provide sufficient protection for prime agricultural land. Read more

Stay off the Greenbelt. Climate change is over, the United Nations address, the climate is boiling. Use non greenbelt only for affordable housing and electric commuter trains. Build Smart!!!!. Save nature's critters and the planet at the same time.

Hello, We need the ability to sever lots and build houses on our family farms to help our kids work and live and take over the farming operations. Even allowing one severance goes so far if three is definitely off the table. Please help our kids, this is your chance to make a difference.
