Effects of consultation
Comments considered.
Comments received were reviewed and where appropriate were considered in the ministry's decision whether or not to proceed with this proposal. In this case, the ministry had the proponent address the comment regarding whether approval from municipal council was obtained to connect to the proposed stormwater management pond to the municipal drain.
The Township of Centre Wellington provided the following response:
“Township Staff, through consultation with the Township’s Drainage Superintendent during the site plan application process for the Cherrywood Estates development reviewed the request for the development lands to connect the proposed private stormwater management pond to the existing municipal drain, and Staff had no objections to the request.
Additionally, as per your email below, your assessment as it relates to the project is inline with the Township’s in that the Township Site Plan Approval (as well as the approval of the Municipal Infrastructure Application) can be considered as municipal approval to connect to the drain.”
