First of all, 6,000 tonnes of waste a day is so much. Let Toronto figure out their own garbage, instead of sending it to literally right outside of small town Dresden.
I am very much against this proposal. It may start out on a smaller scale but once this ball is rolling there will be no way to stop it. I don't feel this would better our community. I am concerned with how this would and will affect our health. So again I say a loud NO to this proposal.
This site is in very close proximity (1km) from the town of Dresden and would pose a definite odour and traffic issue (hauling garbage and removing).
I would predict a VERY strong local opposition to this proposal.

This is not a suitable site for this type of industry. The current domant site was registered back in the 1970's when environmental damage was not taken as seriously as it is now nore was the demographic what is it now for that area.

Its is extremely concerning that a "dump", for various products that could include hazardous goods, is being located on an area that drains into a gully that runs into the nearby river. Never have i witnessed this before. A perfect set up for a huge problem

The town of Dresden does not want the garbage dump. We already have Conagra that produces food waste and dumps it in near by fields causing stink and millions of fruit flies that interferes with the quality of life daily. The proposed area is too close to residential areas.

No thank you to a waste facility outside dresden. We already have enough traffic with harvest season no need to further endanger the youth with numerous garbage trucks etc.
Please put a stop to this before. It's too late. The community does not want nor does it need this and it's backyard. There are so many factors from water table to traffic that will destroy this growing community

This is going to be terrible for our little town. No one wants the entire town to smell like driving by London on the 401 does. Do decision makers not consider the people that live here at all? And what effect is this going to have on surrounding homes that have well water?
We do not want your garbage or landfill in Dresden, Ontario. This is a small farming community and we don’t want it smelling like garbage. 1) it’s too close to town. 2) the value of the property’s and houses will go down.
