Bulletin details

Proposal details:

The Proponent is an individual that holds 100% of 12 contiguous unpatented mining claims in the Township of Griffith, approximately 25 km south of Egansville. The early exploration activities and bulk sampling will occur on two of the 12 mining claims (663279 and 663283.

The material, a dolomitic marble, will be tested for multiple applications including, dimension stone, mineral fillers and extenders.

Extraction of the material is proposed to be done by using a diamond encrusted wire to cut rectangular slabs of rock from an area on the property that has been stripped of overburden and material prepped for sampling (this material has weathered over time and is not suitable for use in testing).

The material will be removed from site by transport truck and no crushing or further processing of the material will happen on site.
