As a property owner in Chatham Kent I believe the proposal for this transfer station in Dresden is a good thing I think it will be economically viable bring jobs to the region and much-needed tax dollars well done keep up the great work looking forward to the new transfer station
I am writing this letter, beyond belief, that we are questioning how unsafe York 1s plan is for their environmentally toxic landfill. A landfill that is less than 1 km from all of us who live here and allowing them to use our valuable farmland that will harm our soils and agricultural produce.

I do not want to raise my family in a town that is 1 km from a potential dump that is for city waste.
York 1 is risking the safety of children riding the bus or walking to school with all of the hundreds of trucks that will be coming in and out of town.

As a 33 year resident of Dresden, I do not remember the proposed site ever open as a dump. I do not even remember it as a tile yard.
I do remember it being used as a Waste Wood depot and a Training area for CK Police Services.

Having a transfer station in Dresden seems like a good idea economically speaking it would bring in more tax dollars for the county as I am a homeowner and a property owner in the county of Chatham Kent I support this idea wholeheartedly
This project needs to be stopped immediately. Chatham-Kent and Dawn-Euphemia are NOT willing hosts. This project is less than 1 km from a large population. There is a huge risk to the environment, the residents are at risk for silicosis and asbestos among other diseases.

I do not support this landfill at all. If a full assessment is needed so be it, however this location should not even be considered at all for a landfill. It is way too close to town and rivers and streams.
Please stop this landfill proposal!!!
Bill 197 needs to be enacted! This landfill is less than a kilometre to town, in a flood zone. This landfill/ recycling centre is not wanted from the community or surrounding communities!
The benefits only apply to the company side of this proposal.
The town would lose quality of life from the volume of trucks proposed that would daily be passing up and down the main street passing through two school zones.

I don't think this site is in a location that makes any sense. The only reason this site is being proposed as a landfill is because of how it was used in the past. This site is right beside and directly across from residential homes. This site is right next to Molly's Creek.

I do not support this dump. They say they will only be bringing recycling material but it never ends up being just that. Also the fact there are houses right next to it. Their homes will be directly impacted in many ways. The value of their home will be worth nothing.

I am totally against any proposal to establish a landfill site by York in Dresden.
The application is to broad in text and would allow for further expansion of services contrary to the verbal pledge from York that it would only recycle construction materials.
