Natural Gas is often fracked and is often a fossil fuel. And a lot of natural spaces are destroyed to put in pipelines. Please do not make it easier for developers and companies to put in pipelines. Instead, promote renewable energy.

No more gas! We should be banning gas hookups on all new builds. We need to be electrifying everything. Let’s pursue renewable energy development instead of locking into more years of polluting, poisonous, climate-wrecking gas!

No more natural gas! New builds should have heat pumps only. We should be phasing out gas. We need to do everything we can to combat the climate crisis. It's already costing people their lives, homes and livelihoods and it's only going to get worse.

Kudos to Ford government for passing the bill. It will modernize and streamline the laying down of pipelines and overall the gas transmission infrastructure.
