This proposal is for a New Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for CeMix Concrete Limited, a mobile cement manufacturing facility operating in various locations across Ontario.
This application includes all emission sources from the portable cement silo that exhaust to the atmosphere including:
- one baghouse dust collector
- one diesel-fired generator, and
- emissions from the delivery, storage and handling of cementitious materials
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- respirable crystalline silica
- portland cement
- nitrogen oxides
- sulphur dioxide, and
- carbon monoxide
