This proposal violates also international agreements to protect water quality and habitat in the Great Lakes. It risks human health in terms of water quality at beaches, fishing and the quality of the lake as an attraction for Canadian and international visitors. Read more

I am asking that this be denied. Toronto has made efforts to keep sewage out of lake Ontario for decades. This reverses that effort and will cause harm in favour of a privately owned spa on public land. We need to keep our lake clean. Please deny this proposal.

As someone who delights in swimming and paddling in the west beach every summer, I strongly object to this plan. We are inconveniencing the entire north west of the city to rebuild a storm sewer network to prevent overflow going into the lake. Read more

I wish to add my comments on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place).  The whole proposal for redeveloping Ontario Place is misguided and to add a sewer that would empty sewage into Lake Ontario adds insult to injury. Read more

I live near Ontario Place. It was always a family destination for us. I disagree with the current provincial plans to develop the site. I can't believe that proper consideration is not being given to the issues of sewers in our city. Read more
