The additional high cost and rushed timeline without an Environmental assessment is very disconcerting. It privileges the subsidy of private profit over public health and social benefits. Ontario should not be for sale especially when the public use of our waterfront may be to pollute by sewage. Read more

I oppose the proposed interim combined sewer at Ontario Place. This plan undermines decades of Toronto’s efforts to eliminate combined sewers and prevent raw sewage discharge into Lake Ontario. It also violates international agreements protecting Great Lakes water quality and ecosystems. Read more

We know the effects of sewage dumped in water and they aren'tgood. I am a kayaker and I live next to the western channel. My kids play in the area and I want a green future for them to grow up in. Toronto deserves better than this.

I strongly support the City plan to deal with this storm water issue, and don't think the Province's plan to do a rushed work- around in the interests of speed and a corporation that the City neither wants nor needs. Read more

I do not support this rerouting of sewage into a sensitive area--whether temporary or not. I do not support this destruction of property that belongs to all Ontarians. Nor do I know any Toronto resident who does. Ontario taxpayers were not consulted on this egregious waste of money. Read more

I am submitting a comment on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support a development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard, otherwise known as Ontario Place. I am vehemently opposed to this proposal. The environmental impact of this sewer work is beyond measure!! Read more
