If the council cares about water safety, cleanliness, eco system maintenance, animal safety or simply doing what is right and just, the council will vote against such an atrocious proposition and hold those making the proposal accountable for how they go about clean business in the future.

Again the Doug Ford government is running rough shod over democracy. Making deals for an Ontario place no one wants, bypassing environmental reviews and generally abandoning set rules and procedures because they know the plan doesn't cut the mustard. Read more

I am saddened and concerned about the environmental impact of the development at Ontario Place. This particular area is already a traffic mss and will be even worse if the Science centre and spa are placed here. The Spa will most likely only be used by the very wealthy, not most Ontarians. Read more

I’m appalled that discharging sewage into Lake Ontario near Ontario Place or anywhere else in the City of Toronto is even being considered. As a taxpayer and longtime resident, I know how how central the lake is to the city and province’s quality of life, health, recreation and tourism industries. Read more

I am strongly opposed to the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support the development at 955 Lake Shore Blvd (Ontario Place). Please I beg you deny this permit! It is not in public interest and threatens the health and stability of the lake ecosystem.
