This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Lavis Contracting Co. Limited, for the operation of one ready-mix concrete plant, located in St. Marys, Ontario.
This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including:
- three baghouse dust collectors
- one diesel-fired generator
- the delivery, storage, and handling of materials associated with concrete batching operations
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- respirable crystalline silica (quartz)
- Portland cement, slag
- carbon monoxide
- sulphur dioxide
- nitrogen oxides
- noise
