The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) has received an application for consent for a lot addition in the unincorporated community of Minaki in the District of Kenora.

The lands are typically accessed by Ontario Highway 596, and Front Street maintained by the Minaki Local Roads Board. The lands are approximately 56 km northwest of the City of Kenora.

Proposal details

Proposed application 60-C-251735 is to add a 0.163 hectare portion of road allowance from PIN 42180-2835 to PIN 42180-2574, Lot 244 on Plan M-222. Lot 244 is approximately 0.32 hectares in size and is currently vacant. 

The effect of this lot addition to add a portion of the road allowance fronting Lots 244 and 245, to facilitate a future consolidation with Lot 245 for resource-based recreational use.
