We have approved updates to the assessment report and source protection plan for the Sudbury Source Protection Area. Proceeding with these updates will ensure the assessment report and source protection plan are current and in place to protect sources of drinking water for the Greater Sudbury region.

We have approved amendments to Grand River’s Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report to ensure Ontario’s municipal drinking water sources continue to be protected. The amendments update existing water quality protections in Wellington County, include new water quantity protections in Brant County, with minor updates to other municipalities.

We have approved amendments to the Trent Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report to ensure that the quality of Ontario municipal drinking water sources continue to be protected in the Trent source protection area. The amendments update the existing protection area around the Canadiana Shores drinking water system in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

We have approved amendments to the Trent Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report. The amendments expand the existing protection area around the Stirling drinking water system in the Township of Stirling-Rawdon and the City of Quinte West, and the Pinewood drinking water system in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

We approved the amendments to the assessment report and source protection plan for the Grand River Source Protection Area. The amendments update the water quality protection zones around 28 municipal residential drinking water systems, and include some new policies and revisions to previous policies to further protect drinking water sources.

We have approved the amendments to the Long Point Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report. The amendments update the protection area around the Otterville drinking water system in the Township of Norwich, Oxford County, add transition provisions and make minor administrative edits to policies.

We have approved amendments to the Rideau Valley Assessment Report and Mississippi-Rideau Source Protection Plan. The amendments update the protection areas around the Kemptville and Merrickville drinking water systems in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and improve policy implementation throughout the region.

We have approved the updates to the assessment report and source protection plan for the Mattagami Source Protection Area. Proceeding with these updates will keep protections around existing drinking water sources current.

We have approved the amendments to the Credit Valley Assessment Report and CTC Source Protection Plan. The amendments update the protection area around the Alton drinking water system in the Town of Caledon, within the Region of Peel.

We have approved the amendments to the Quinte Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report. The amendments update the existing protection areas around three municipal residential drinking water systems in the Village of Madoc, City of Belleville and Town of Picton.

We have approved the amendments to the Trent Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report. The amendments change the existing protection area around the Norwood drinking water system in the Townships of Asphodel-Norwood and Douro-Dummer.

We have approved the amendments to the assessment report and source protection plan for the Grand River Source Protection Area. The amendments update the existing protection areas around six drinking water systems in Grey County (Township of Southgate), City of Hamilton and County of Brant.

We have approved the amendments to the assessment reports and source protection plan for the CTC Source Protection Region. The amendments update the protection areas around two municipal residential drinking water systems in the Town of Caledon and make changes to policies so that they are easier to understand and implement.

The amendments update the protection areas around three local drinking water systems, help reduce nitrates around a fourth system, and include policies to protect water quantity.

We have approved the amendments to the assessment report for the Rideau Valley Source Protection Area and source protection plan for the Mississippi Valley and Rideau Valley source protection areas. The amendments add a new protection area and make changes to two existing protection areas in the City of Ottawa.

We have approved the amendments to the assessment report for the Hamilton source protection area and source protection plan for the Halton and Hamilton source protection areas. The amendments added a new and updated wellhead protection area in West Flamborough.

We have approved the amendments to the assessment reports and source protection plans for the Ausable Bayfield and Maitland Valley Source Protection Areas. The amendments update wellhead protection areas around 6 municipal wells, revise risk management policies for consistency and help with implementation.

We have approved the amendments to the Source Protection Plan for the Saugeen-Grey-Sauble-Northern Bruce Peninsula Source Protection Region. The amendments add new wellhead protection areas for new wells in the municipality of Huron-Kinloss. The amendments also make changes to the policies to make them easier to understand and implement.
