The request to renew the existing Permit to take Water No. 1637-7V3NT9 has been approved.

This permit was issued for a new Permit To Take Water for Wallbridge Mining Company Limited. Water will be taken from one (1) pond for groundwater remediation purposes at the Broken Hammer Open Pit.

Permit to Take Water No. 1441-B5DLD4 was issued, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 1620-A39LKB. The permit was issued on December 4, 2018 with an expiry date of October 31, 2021.

Permit to Take Water No. 7802-BKPTAR was issued on January 16, 2020 with an expiry date of January 12, 2025.

To further reduce regulatory burden for the waterpower sector while maintaining environmental protection, we have removed existing Permits to Take Water for waterpower facilities. This action follows amendments to the Ontario Water Resources Act in December 2019 that removed the need for these facilities to have a Permit to Take Water.
