Proposal details
Walker Aggregates Inc. has applied to amend the site plan to:
- Maintain processing and shipping to the Duntroon Quarry (3514) from the expansion licence (607841)
- Deepen the floor of the quarry form 500masl and 490masl to 485masl – 489masll
- Update phasing to align with the revised extraction depth
- Update the extent of the existing vegetation and proposed berms along Township Road 91 and associated notes
- Update tunnel notes to reflect the maintenance of tunnel for shipping and recommendations for backfilling
- Update the rehabilitation plan and cross-sections to show revised lake contours and tunnel ramp
- Add additional technical report references and update notes to provide increase clarification

The proposal request for this licence is being circulated within the Ministry of Natural Resources. Additionally, notification of this application has been forwarded to Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, Niagara Escarpment Commission, County of Simcoe, Township of Clearview, County of Grey and landowners within 120m of the site for comment.
