This proposal is for an amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 1681-93ULLM for Sasco Tubes and Roll Forming Inc. for the operation of a steel and aluminum welding located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

This application includes all emission sources from the facility that exhaust to the atmosphere including welding machines. The amendment is for reducing the approved eight welding stations to five, replace two approved spot welding machines, add two manual welding stations and a robotic welder.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • nickel
  • chromium
  • manganese
  • phosphorus
  • aluminum
  • magnesium, and
  • zinc
