This proposal is for an amended Environmental Compliance Approval for upgrade of existing Class 4 onsite domestic sewage disposal works, with a daily maximum flow of 12 250 liters per day, to service Wallenstein Feed & Supply Ltd.'s livestock feed production operation at 7307 Wellington Road 86, in Wallenstein, in the Township of Mapleton, Ontario.
The works accommodate domestic wastewater from the existing production plant and office building, and are to further accommodate additional staffing associated with proposed expansion of operations and projected future growth. The upgraded works are to include flow equalization, moving bed biofilm reactor treatment, and effluent pumping to a Type A bed for subsurface discharge.
