Kimberly-Clark Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for an amendment to the existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 4-099-69-947 to remove surface water discharge to the Big East River, update the monitoring requirements, and update the description of work to more accurately reflect current operations at the 570 Ravenscliff Road site, in the Town of Huntsville, District Municipality of Muskoka, Ontario.

The amendment seeks to consolidate legacy approvals, remove obsolete authorizations (including surface water discharge to the Big East River), update documentation to reflect current sludge management practices, and establish an effluent monitoring framework aligned with current operations.

No physical expansion, increase in capacity, or change in wastewater sources is proposed as part of this application.

Proposed effluent monitoring parameters and objectives are supported by an extensive historical monitoring record and are intended to serve as operational performance indicators to confirm continued effective pretreatment and treatment system operation.
