This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. 3168-BH9JQY to include manifested non-hazardous liquid soils from low risk sites, addition of a covered soils sludge solidification pad with adjacent dry material covered storage, addition of a lamella type settler for enhanced water clarification and a change in maximum received daily volume from 750 cubic metres per day to 1600 cubic metres per day on a moving 60-day average.
The facility is an excess liquid soils processing facility located at 60A Baywood Road, Etobicoke and services the Province of Ontario. On site processing (no receipt or shipping of materials) at the facility may occur 24 hours each day, 365 days of the year.
