This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 8295-CGGLZ3 issued to Clean Harbors Canada, Inc., operating a fully integrated hazardous waste management facility at a facility located in the Township of St. Clair.
This amendment is in response to Condition 7.3 of the Environmental Compliance Approval to review and include the following modifications such as adding portable first fighter/heater and updated leachate pond operations manual.
This application includes furnace stacks, carbon adsorber, baghouse and SPL processing unit. Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- nitrogen oxide
- acrylonitrile
- fluoranthene
- potassium hydroxide, and
- trichloroethylene
