This proposal is for the renewal of Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 7971-A9WH9S for DBG Canada Limited, a manufacturing facility for parts and accessories for the automotive industry located at 1566 Shawson Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.
The main processes consist of stamping, laser cutting, grinding, polishing, assembly using spot, projection, and metal inert gas (“MIG”) welding, and assembly.
Emissions to the air from this facility include:
- chromium hexavalent
- manganese
- aluminum oxide
- particulate matter
- ferric oxide
- nickel
- sulphur dioxide, and
- nitrogen oxides
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
