Ontario must move off fossil fuel dependence as fast as possible and stop investing in nuclear.  No nuclear development or refurbishment has come in on budget.  Nuclear should be sun settled as soon as possible.  Nuclear waste is only a long term problem and drain of resources.

please, dispose of all the old dirty fuels and look only toward renewable energy

 

I realise that tis means breaking off ties with Big Oil

I support this initiative because we need Nuclear power at present and for the immediate future as there is no suitable technology that can reliably replace it's output without an increased environmental footprint (coal, gas, etc).

Lets go 100% renewable by, at the latest, 2050.

 

Lets get out of nuclear ASAP because the less toxic residue for future generations, the better. (Debt is a social fiction but radiation is a physical fact.  Debt is JUST ACCOUNTING but radiation is real.)

Please reconsider nuclear projects and change course to a renewable energy future.  The latter will be much more sustainable and much less dangerous than the former for all Canadians...
