I've got no problem with the concept. Similar to PSAB3150 Accounting, it's a starting point and within 50 years, the balance sheet will reflect correctly the value of our assets (instead of the consultants' best guesses and assumptions used in 2009).

The Council of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, at its recent Committee of the Whole meeting held July 4, 2017, reviewed the proposal for a regulation which would require municipalities to adopt asset management plans, as well as the content and other requirements.
