As General Manager of a privately own sawmill and a member of a northern community in Ontario would like to let the government know that Ontario's renewable forest sector is very important for Northern Ontario and each families living in the area.

I feel strongly that we cannot leave the forest industry to do as it likes without regulations in place to protect the woodland caribou habitat. The caribou are an endangered species and I'm sure there is room for maintaining habitat and feeding the diminishing demand on wood.
