I cannot say forcefully enough but with respect: it is not right to exempt the logging industry from laws that are necessary to protect the caribou and their home, the boreal forest. Please be forward-thinking and enforce the Endangered Species at Risk Act until at least 2020. Read more

If delaying logging, and in the interim the caribou reach a point in no return in numbers, what does the government do next. Probably nothing, because by then it is too late. Better to act now and preserve caribou numbers. Read more
