In order to help save the planet from more damage due to climate change, we are moving away from fossil fuels, to renewable energy. Wind power is a form of renewable energy. You do not protect the environment by closing the White Pines Wind Project. Please reconsider closing this project !

The White Pines wind project should not be terminated. It should be completed and brought online. Clean, renewable energy is the future of power generation in Ontario. This project will provide that energy to 3,000 homes in the area.

Do not close down the White Pines wind project. We NEED renewal energy. Money has been spent on this project and we need it to run to provide Ontario with clean renewable energy. Closing the white pines is a step in the wrong direction.
The White Pines project is intended to provide enough clean energy to power over 3,000 homes. Cancelling the project now will cost money to uproot and destroy clean energy capacity that’s already been built.

Save the White Pines Wind Project! We need more renewable energy sources. You're throwing money away by closing this and you're throwing our future away as we continue to cling to outdated fossil fuel technology that will exacerbate climate change.
Just finish the project that is already started. Such a waste of human resources and physical resources to stop and undo all the work that has already gone into the project.
Shutting down a renewable energy project that has already been approved and has already commenced makes absolutely no sense. This province needs to think about the shift to renewable energy sources as a responsibility, one that is vital to the future of our province, country and planet.

I don't think we should be closing this down AT ALL. It's a huge waste of taxpayer dollars to dismantle an already 90% built windfarm that will help contribute to our climate change goals. If the Ontario government is serious about climate change, it will leave this project up and running.
I've lived in Ontario my whole life. Almost 50 years. I've paid hundred of thousands of dollars in taxes to the Ontario Govt. over the years. Possibly millions of dollars.
I am a business owner and I employ several hundred people.
