It is absolutely essential that Ontario reduce its toxins levels if it is truly going to be "open for business" and competitive globally. That is the future of business and healthy economies. As a University of Toronto student and a future engineer, I oppose the proposed changes. They amount to an abdication by the provincial government of its responsibility to regulate harmful substances in the absence of a complete Chemicals Management Plan federally. Read more
