As an Ontario resident/citizen, I strongly ask the Government of Ontario to maintain current restrictions on neonics, including third-party verification and reporting requirements, and to work toward a comprehensive ban on these chemicals.

There are currently seven lawsuits filed in Canada in regards to studies provided by industry to register glyphosate which are flawed. However this does not even begin to touch on how backwards our assessment of pesticides are.

As an Ontario citizen for all of my 64 years, I ask the government to maintain current restrictions on neonics, including third-party verification and reporting requirements, and to work toward a comprehensive ban on these chemicals.
I would like Section 9 of Bill 132 eliminated.
The W.H.O. has determined that glyphosate is a probably carcinogen.
Chemical companies are being sued and having to pay millions of dollars to victims of lymphomas.

Please we have to many chemicals in this world. Stop the insanity, we got along without these chemicals for thousands of years we do not need to use them so much. It is killing us too, some slower than others but it is killing us too.

Rural Ontario has an undue burden of pesticide exposure. This will be made worse with the proposed changes. Federal and provincial guidelines as regards exposure to pesticides are too lenient.

I completely oppose Doug Ford's effort to bring back neonics and introduce pesticides that will drive pollinators to extinction. They will keep small farmers beholden to mega-seed-pesticide corps, poison groundwater, and damage our health and environment.

This legislation is irresponsible and dangerous. Eliminating OPAC and leaving regulation up to the federal government is negligent. Why would the current provincial government trust the federal government to look after the well being of Ontarians?
I am very concerned about neonicatodes. I feel this chemical should be banned. It is irresponsible to weaken laws that protect the public and all life forms. It is critical to protect pollinating Insects and other creatures to maintain a healthy ecosystem which is necessary for human survival.

The government has failed it's people. YOU are elected by the people, for the people and you are following your own agenda. Your agenda is allowing TOXIC substances that are poisoning our water, soil, and people.

We do not need these pesticides, period. We do not need toxic and harmful chemicals being used for aesthetically pleasing properties at the risk of polluting waterways, causing harm to wildlife and human life. It’s dangerous and incredibly stupid.
