Bottled water companies don’t produce water; they produce corporate profits and plastic bottle waste. Nestle, especially, is a company with a long history of putting profits before people. Our water must be protected for our communities.
We need to protect communities water supply, and Nestle's does not have the rite to keep stealing it and then selling it back to the public. We also don't need more of these plastic bottles that are just tossed away to contaminate our waterways, and our land.

The world is running out of fresh water. Australia is almost out of water. Many states in the US are running out of water. We need to stop allowing water to be bottled for so many reasons, especially considering the crisis with plastic pollution.

I believe that I pay more for my own use of water than any of these corporate water takers that profit from our valuable resource. Our water belongs to us, who's bills are higher than the price the takers of water for bottling are paying. You're selling our water cheap and stroking big business.

It is time to reduce our consumption of bottled water which is a leading cause of plastic pollution. Let’s not have our precious underground sources of water result in mountains of plastic waste in our communities.

I'm am completely opposed to pumping ground water anywhere in Ontario to fill plastic bottles that are shipped out of the watershed where the water was bottled. Companies like Nesles should not be making a profit from water, a commodity that is essential for life itself. Our water is priceless!

I am happy we are extending the moratorium on bottled water permits until late next year. We have to be careful about the extraction of this precious resource.
